A.P. Construction has a broad range of experience working with both public and private organizations. Specializing in education, commercial, healthcare, municipal and residential projects, we have also completed work for private clubs, retail stores, houses of worship, not-for-profit organizations, and mixed-use developments. We have not only the expertise to handle the construction tasks of these diverse projects but equally important we have the facility management experience to understand how buildings operate. This unique knowledge enables A.P. Construction to out-perform other construction managers and provide added value to our clients.

EDUCATION
A.P. Construction has extensive experience with both public and private educational facilities. Projects include facilities for day care, elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as higher education. The construction programs have encompassed both new structures and renovations to occupied facilities and ranged from upgrades to specific rooms such as libraries to an entirely new 325,000 square foot high school. We have also completed athletic facilities and site improvements. Our experience working in occupied schools allows us to plan for and implement programs to ensure student safety and the protection of ongoing school operations.

COMMERCIAL
A.P. Construction has a broad range of experience working in commercial office buildings on tenant installations, capital improvements to public spaces, and system upgrades to mechanical or electrical systems. Tenant improvements have ranged from major 100,000 square foot projects on multiple floors to minor improvements for repeat clients doing post move-in alterations. The construction requirements have included complex trading floors, communication rooms, full kitchens and pantries, extensive millwork installations, conference rooms with audio visual equipment, and special finishes in reception areas and other important focus points. Capital improvements have included entrance canopies, lobbies, cafeterias, commercial kitchens, and public facilities. These projects have been completed in both occupied and unoccupied conditions that have demanded special logistical and safety planning.

HEALTHCARE
A.P. Construction’s experience in the healthcare market includes hospital renovations, out patient care facilities, and special needs housing for the elderly. Working within an operating hospital requires specific organizational and construction skills. We have completed intensive care units, operating rooms, clinical laboratories, cardiovascular care units, central processing areas, and post anesthesia care units to name a few. Out patient facilities that we have completed range form 2,000 square feet to over 50,000 square feet with various specialties such as diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, diabetes, orthopedic, and family practice walk-in facilities. Our experience with the complex tasks of performing major renovations in existing or new medical facilities allows us to fully understand the requirements for patient safety, systems integrity, facilities management, and protection of ongoing medical operations.

MUNICIPAL
A.P. Construction has worked on a broad range of municipal facilities including police stations, libraries, and social centers for teens and seniors. We have completed both new facilities as well as additions and alterations to occupied facilities which require complex organizational and scheduling skills to ensure the safety of employees and visitors and a minimum disruption of existing services. The work has included state of-the-art technology for emergency communication systems, telephone and data systems, and specialties such as children’s library facilities, commercial kitchens, and lock up cell areas.

RESIDENTIAL
A.P. Construction has completed high-end renovations to private homes, new multi-family housing, and renovations to historic structures for subsidized residential units. Each project has been unique and presented specific construction, scheduling, or logistical challenges. Our experience with single-family houses has involved specialized millwork applications in wood, metal, stone, and synthetic materials, highly sensitive mechanical systems, and complex lighting arrangements. Multi-family projects have ranged from large mixed use developments to smaller single structure projects in both urban and suburban locations.
