A.P. Construction Awarded Chelsea Piers Connecticut Project

A.P. Construction Company was awarded Chelsea Piers Connecticut sports and recreation complex and is now several months into the construction of the $35 million project. This 400,000 square-foot facility is located on Stamford's East Side on a 33 acre property which was the former headquarters to Clairol. See full story.

Construction of a new medical office. Includes laboratory space, exam rooms, offices, restrooms, and reception/waiting area with extensive use of stone and wood finishes.

 

 


General Electric Asset Management
Stamford, CT – 158,000 sf
Architect: Perkins Eastman

Construction of new corporate facilities on four floors with a connecting stair between the third and fourth floor. Work includes conference and training facilities, telepresence room, exercise room, 90 seat trading floor, pantries on each floor, offices, and open work areas.



Trumbull High School
Trumbull, CT – 365,000 sf
Architect: JCJ Architecture/ Wiles Associates

Renovation as new of the 335,000 sf existing structure. 30,000 sf of additions include a new culinary kitchen, classroom, and 1,100 sf auditorium. Project includes replacement of all HVAC and electrical systems, enhanced commissioning, new roof, and full window replacement. Scheduled for LEED Silver certification. Joint venture with O&G Industries.



Miller Motor Cars
Greenwich, CT – 8,000 sf
Architect: Ridberg Associates

Construction of a new vehicle showroom with two levels and a mezzanine for offices. Building is very transparent with extensive use of glass and decorative metals.
